Returns Procedure
UNDER WARRANTY
The embosser should be returned to your Index Dealer for repair under warranty - PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT CARRY OUT WARRANTY REPAIRS ON EMBOSSERS WHICH HAVE BEEN SUPPLIED BY ANOTHER DEALER.
If your embosser is still under manufacturers Return to Base warranty, AND it was originally supplied by Cragside, you will need to have it shipped to us for repair. The embosser MUST be in its original packaging, with ALL transport locks correctly fitted. Failure to do this will result in the Index warranty being void and may cause additional damage to the embosser. In the case of incorrectly packed embossers, ALL COSTS OF THE REPAIR WILL BE CHARGED. If you do not have the original packaging and transport locks, we can provide replacements for a charge.
There will be no charge for parts or labour for repairs carried out under warranty.
Either download the Returns Form, complete it and return it to us. If preferred, it can be faxed on 0870 321 7098, or call on 0870 321 7099 and we can complete the details over the telephone. You will need to have the Model and Serial Number details available, as well as our original invoice number.
We will issue a Returns Number and fax the form back. This form should be included in the box with the embosser, and the Returns Number should be clearly displayed on the outside of the box.
Once the repair has been carried out, we will return the embosser via Courier.
NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS
We can repair any Model 2 and Model 3 Index embosser, regardless of which Dealer originally supplied it.
The embosser MUST be in its original packaging, with ALL transport locks correctly fitted. Failure to do this may result in additional damage to the embosser. In the case of incorrectly packed embossers, ALL COSTS OF THE REPAIR WILL BE CHARGED.
