Reading Machines
The systems listed below are designed to assist partially sighted and blind people gain access to printed text. These machines scan printed text and then read it back using synthetic speech. They are simple to use, and you do not have to use a PC to have access to printed text, nor do you have to be a computer genius to operate these systems.
