Zoomax VI CCTV Reader
General Information
Zoomax VI is an extremely versatile user-friendly video magnifier mounted on a flexible arm, it incorporates all the basic functions required by the visually impaired to assist with reading and writing. Zoomax VI is designed for users who wish to connect to an SVGA computer monitor. Simply connect just your SVGA monitor to Zoomax VI, or connect your SVGA monitor and your PC.
When the PC is connected, using the control panel the user can switch between the computer image on the screen and the Zoomax VI camera image. For situations where regular video magnifiers are not suitable and when desk space is limited, Zoomax VI is an excellent solution.

Focussing
The image comes into focus automatically within one second when the focal length is modified. At maximum zoom, the autofocus works over a length of around 4cm. At minimum zoom however, the image remains in focus over the whole 19cm separating the camera from the initial plane of vision, even with an object at only 1cm from the camera.
Depth of field
Zoomax VI provides great depth of field. Pages that will not lie flat, medicine bottles, canned food labels, etc., are always perfectly clear.
Zoomax VI even gives a perfectly clear image of a page held at 75°.
