APPLIES TO: BMW AND BMP

Install Braille Maker on the server following the standard instructions supplied.

Activate Braille Maker.

On each client PC:

Map a drive letter to the server volume containing Braille Maker. The Braille Maker folder does not have to be the root directory.

Run the client.exe program from the mapped Braille Maker folder. This will install program icons, fonts and MS Word menu items on the client PC.

Install the Generic/Text Only printer driver.

If you use the same name for the printer on every client then you can use a single BMWin.set Braille Maker settings file to control all clients. If you want different clients to use different printers/queues then you must select the option "Remember last settings filename used" in Braille Maker Settings and use "Save As" to save your settings to a specific filename, e.g. bmDavid.set. This option is stored on the client PC so you can have some PC's with their own settings files and some using the default BMWin.set file.
