Why is the Braille font not displayed in the Braille Editor?

Some versions of Windows do not correctly register the font during installation.

From the Start Menu select Settings, Control Panel

Double click on Fonts

On the font list find Braille Plain Medium HC

Double click on the font to register it

 

If Braille Plain Medium HC is not displayed, it has not been installed, so click on the Install New Font from the file menu

Browse the Braille Maker CD for the font

Highlight the font(s) you require

Image of selected fonts

Click OK to install the font(s)

The font should now be displayed in the Fonts Window

The Braille PlainHC Medium font should now be listed.
