Why is Braille not centred in Braille Maker Professional?

A line of text is centred in Word, but does not centre in Braille.

Solution

Can be caused by one of two things.

  1. The Braille Maker Page Composition setting to Allow Centred Braille is turned off.To turn this back on: -
    • Run Braille Maker from the Start Menu
    • Choose Settings
    • Choose Page Composition
    • Check the box next to Allow Centred Braille

  1. Use Word Processor Styles is also turned on in the Editor Settings.To turn this off: -
    • Run Braille Maker from the Start Menu
    • Choose Settings
    • Choose Editor

Clear the check the box next to Use Word Processor Styles
