How do I transfer dictation from my Phillips 9350 Digital Recorder?

Connect the recorder to the PC via the USB cable.

The download software should start, but if not, run it from the Start Menu > Program Files > DPM Download Configuration

Copy your file from the Recorder to the PC.  You can browse to find a specific folder, or use the default one.

In the PC file list, highlight your file and either right click on it or use the context key and choose Convert.

In the Convert Dialogue Box set the Format to PCM and the Attributes to 11.025 KHz, 16 bit mono.

From the Sound menu in Dragon, choose Transcribe Recording.

Browse to the folder where you saved the file.

Choose your file and Dragon will transcribe it.  Any corrections can be made in the usual way.

The transcribed file can now be saved.  Dragon will prompt to save the sound files which are required if correction is going to be carried out at a later time.
