Error 83
This error occurs when the user does not have full control over the Braille Maker folder. This is generally on networked systems rather than standalone PCs.
Solution
Locate the Braille Maker folder, usually this is on drive C and is called BMW, BMPW or BMWIN depending on which version is installed.
Right click on the folder name and go to Properties
Locate the Security Tab
Under Group or User Names, locate the user name and move the highlight onto it
In the Permissions window below, make sure Full Control is checked
Tab to or click on Apply
Tab to or click on OK
