APPLIES TO: BMW AND BMP

This is due to some older versions of BrailleMaker which use the WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS filter during the processing.  It is not installed by default when some versions of Office are installed.

Solution

Save the file you are trying to print in the usual way.

Start a new document.

Type a couple of words at random

Select SaveAs

From the file dialogue box choose WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS in the Save As Type box.

Click Save

Word will report that formatting will be lost, click Yes

Word will then report that this feature is not currently installed, and asks if you would like to install it now, click Yes.

You will be prompted to insert the Microsoft Office CD, and the correct filter will be installed.  This only has to be performed once.
