Braille Maker allows the user to define how words are translated.  For example, place names and peoples' names do not always contract correctly.  The user can control how any word is contracted.

To define a word: -

Launch Braille Maker from the Start Menu

Choose the Settings button

Choose Dictionary

User Dictionary Main Screen

Choose Add

Add dictionary word dialogue box

In the first field type the word you wish to add - LIGHTHEARTED in the example.

In the next field re-type the word with round brackets around the contractions you require - LI(GH)THE(AR)T(ED)

Tab to or click on the OK button.
